Part of my commute regularly takes me along Coyote Creek trail. I just love how everything is green at this time of year.
You can't tell from the photo, but Highway 101 is 100 feet to my right...

I used to see Bobcats on that trail pretty frequently! I was heading south in the morning and north in the evening so it was a headwind both ways usually.
It seems to me there is almost always headwind, no matter which direction you go ... :-)
I've seen Bobcats on occasion. Wild turkeys regularly. One evening after dark I rode straight through a group of wild pigs that were feeding left and right of the trail. I think I surprised and scared them about as much as vice versa.
