After having spent the last 8 months in temporary arrangements, the control box for the bearded dragons terrarium is now finally complete. A Raspberry Pi 2B controls temperature and humidity sensors, as well as relays to switch the day light and heating lamps automatically.
Yep, I clearly have too many trains and not enough track ...
The hidden staging tracks for Freiburg/Hausach are empty, so that I can clean the tracks, after an attack of the backyard cat, and having to clear out half the tracks to repair a turnout servo.
The track cleaning was only moderately successful. Some locomotives still have problems, of course in hard to reach corners. Eventually, I need to do something about this hidden trackage. I haven't decided what, though.
