SJC - PDX

The plane is here. We're only 30 mins delayed. As we see often with Alaska Airlines in SJC, they board the plane from both ends at the same time. It's so much more fun to not use the jet bridge, and I'm in the rear half of the plane, so of course I could around the wing to the rear door.

Other passengers apparently enjoy that, too. I like the shadows from the low sun. At least there's one benefit from leaving late.

You can't beat the colors of the sunset. Flying over the former salt ponds at the south end of the bay as we navigate the somewhat goofy, spiral departure path out of SJC.

No problems on arrival and getting to the hotel. Time to sleep. I'm signed up for an Ops session tomorrow.
