The digester is one of the central features of a paper mill. This is where the wood fibers are "cooked" to become pulp. With the new part of the plant, a continuous digester was built right next to the paper machine building. However, the old batch digesters where not removed (yet?), though I will likely heavily weather them to show their age.
These digester models are made from ABS pipe with a styrene sheet over the top and spray painted with grey primer.
